Lester and I have farmed in the Hopetoun area for the last 25 years and our three children all grew up and went to school here. Now that they are all pursuing their own careers, we decided to lease out our Farm and saw taking over management of the Hopetoun Motel as an opportunity to remain in the area we both love but have a completely different lifestyle from what we had been accustomed to on the farm. We have both travelled throughout Australia and overseas and feel that when people are travelling whether it be for pleasure or business they want to be made feel comfortable in a welcoming atmosphere that is clean and friendly and this is what we aim to provide for everyone who stays with us. Hopetoun is a beautiful, unspoilt part of the world that we hope you enjoy coming to visit as much as we enjoy being here.
