There are lots of activities for everyone, some of the popular choices when visiting Hopetoun include:
There are many beaches to swim from - with Hopetoun being on a peninsula we are spoilt for choice within a 5 minute walk. Or choose a nice secluded beach along the never-ending coast. Be aware that rips are often found along many of the beaches so be careful.
A popular past-time in Hopetoun is fishing from the beach, jetty, river, estuary or from a boat. There is some good fishing to be had if you ask the locals where to go.
Hopetoun's golf course is picturesque with views of the Barrens and kangaroos and wildflowers a plenty. There's a green fee of $6 and you can play any time you like.
Hiking is another favourite pastime of visitors to Hopetoun. The National Park is an especially spectacular spot to hike through and many of the beaches around Hopetoun can only be properly appreciated with a stroll. They almost always provide the weary walker with a special reward in the form of a magnificent sunset over the ocean and hills.
